Fair Trade Pearl Studs

An Indonesian pearl is the centrepiece of these attractive stud earrings. The pearl is set in an intricately crafted sterling silver base to form a design that is both traditional and ethnic. These fair trade earrings combine a Balinese design with a simple pearl stud to create a unique piece of ethical jewellery.

Pearls are approx. 0.5 cm in diameter. Earring is 0.8 cm deep (not including stem). Made from pearl and 925 sterling silver.

These fair trade earrings are made by hand by small-scale producers on the Indonesian island of Bali. Fair trade ensures that these producers are paid a fair price for their work. The producers are treated as equal partners and are given support and sales that they can rely on, over the long term, allowing them to develop their business and increase their quality of life.
