Lontar Palm Shoulder Bag

This eco-friendly shoulder bag is made from lontar palm leaves and is a gorgeous addition to the By Hand collection. The three-tone bag is made with natural fibres and complemented with sturdy leather straps. It is fitted with a fabric lining containing two open side pockets and one inside zip pocket, and is finished with a zip fastener. The vibrant colours, beautiful shape and fantastic workmanship all combine to make this a really wonderful fair trade bag. Approx. 52 cm wide (at top) and 35 cm tall, with a strap height of 23 cm.

This fair trade bag is made by hand by small-scale producers on the Indonesian island of Bali. Fair trade ensures that these producers are paid a fair price for their work. The producers are treated as equal partners and are given support and sales that they can rely on, over the long term, allowing them to develop their business and increase their quality of life.
