Large Raffia Day Bag

This large fair trade day bag is a piece of really intricate workmanship. Leaves from raffia palm trees have been dyed a beautiful autumnal orange and then woven together to form this lovely eco-friendly and totally unique bag. The fair trade bag is complemented with leather straps and features a zip fastener, as well as an inner lining with two small side pockets. Approx. 46 cm wide and 42 cm tall, with a strap height of 25 cm.

This fair trade and eco-friendly bag is made by hand by small-scale producers on the Indonesian island of Bali. Fair trade ensures that these producers are paid a fair price for their work. The producers are treated as equal partners and are given support and sales that they can rely on, over the long term, allowing them to develop their business and increase their quality of life.
