Rattan Shoulder Bag

This fair trade shoulder bag is made from plain, eco-friendly rattan, complemented with brown leather straps. One of the fastest-growing tropical woods, rattan grows extensively in many parts of Indonesia and, as such, is ideal for use in handicrafts and furniture-making. With its simple design, this ethical bag is ideal for everyday use. 

Approx. 35 cm wide and 33 cm tall, with a strap-height of 20 cm.

This fair trade rattan bag is made by hand by small-scale producers on the Indonesian island of Bali. Fair trade ensures that these producers are paid a fair price for their work. The producers are treated as equal partners and are given support and sales that they can rely on, over the long term, allowing them to develop their business and increase their quality of life.
