This fair trade day bag features a fantastic design typical of Borneo and is made from eco-friendly rattan. One of the fastest-growing tropical woods, rattan grows extensively in many parts of Indonesia and, as such, is ideal for use in handicrafts and furniture-making. This ethical bag comes with sturdy leather straps and a drawstring inner lining, making it both unique, attractive and highly practical.

Approx. 35 cm wide and 27 cm tall, with a strap-height of 20 cm.

This fair trade and eco-friendly rattan bag is made by hand by small-scale producers on the Indonesian island of Bali. Fair trade ensures that these producers are paid a fair price for their work. The producers are treated as equal partners and are given support and sales that they can rely on, over the long term, allowing them to develop their business and increase their quality of life.
